Wipro, a leading global information technology company, has witnessed a change in its senior leadership as Stephanie Trautman, the Chief Growth Officer, has tendered her resignation, set to take effect from January 31, 2024.

Wipro officially disclosed Trautman's resignation in a regulatory filing, stating, "Stephanie Trautman will be relieved from the services of the Company with effect from January 31, 2024." The departure of Trautman, who played a crucial role as the Chief Growth Officer, signifies a shift in the company's leadership landscape.

According to her profile on Wipro's website, Trautman held a pivotal position, leading Wipro's relationships with hyper-growth partners. She provided valuable market intelligence through advisors and analysts, enhanced the company's brand awareness, and played a key role in developing sales capabilities throughout the organization. This included the establishment of a global, strategic pursuit team.

The resignation letter submitted by Stephanie Trautman, dated December 8, was also included in the regulatory filing. In the letter, Trautman expressed gratitude for her three years at Wipro and cited a desire to pursue personal and professional goals outside of the company as the reason for her departure.

“I appreciate the opportunity given to me by Wipro over the past 3 years and am proud of the work we have done together to help transform the company,” mentioned Trautman in her resignation letter. She added, “However, at this point in my life, I am eager to pursue my personal and professional goals outside of Wipro. Accordingly, I am tendering my resignation and my last day of employment will be 31st January 2024.”

With over 30 years of experience in developing markets and managing global C‑Suite client relationships across various industries, Trautman leaves behind a legacy of contributions to Wipro's growth and strategic initiatives.

Wipro's CEO, Thierry Delaporte, commented on the organizational change, stating, “Over the past few months, we have started integrating the Strategic Pursuits team, formerly under the CGO, into our Strategic Market Units (SMUs)." He added, "This integrated approach will help us uncover new growth opportunities, enhance our speed to market as well as success rate in deal wins."
