Sharda School of Business Studies (SSBS), in collaboration with the Training & Placement Department, recently organized the HR Conclave 2024, a significant event aimed at shedding light on "The Future of Work – Adapting to Changing Landscapes." Distinguished industry leaders, including Sahil Nayar from KPMG, Raosaheb Kangane of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kruti Pancholi from Cipla, and Chandrima De from VLCC, participated as speakers, inspiring and guiding the students of Sharda University.

Chandan Kashikar, CPO of Jagjit Industries, emphasized the transformative impact of advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and robotics on job roles. He highlighted the need for skills that complement automation and discussed the accelerated adoption of remote and hybrid work models, prompting a reconsideration of traditional office-centric approaches. Kashikar stressed the growing importance of prioritizing employee well-being and fostering inclusive cultures amidst these transformative changes.

Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Officiating Vice Chancellor of Sharda University, spoke about the objective of conclaves like these. He emphasized the need to introduce students to the concept of the future of work, helping them understand ongoing trends and innovative strategies in the industry. Dr. Kumar underscored the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and continuous learning in coping with the evolving professional landscape, stating that adaptive leaders can navigate challenges and remain comfortable with the uncertainty that leadership brings.
