The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Mumbai-based Mitshi India, Rinku Patel, has sent shockwaves through the business community by submitting a resignation letter in a handwritten note. In the handwritten missive addressed to the managing director of Mitshi India, Patel expressed, "With respect, I hereby inform you that I will be resigning from the position of CFO with immediate effect due to personal reasons. Mitshi India promptly communicated to the stock exchanges that it has accepted Patel's resignation with immediate effect and is actively engaged in the process of identifying a suitable replacement, as reported by Mint.

Formerly known as Dera Paints and Chemicals Ltd, Mitshi India is a diversified company engaged in the production of paints, as well as manufacturing paper, plastics, hardware, metal products, and wholesale fruits and vegetables. Listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with a market capitalization of ₹20.22 crore, the company's shares were trading positively on Friday at ₹22.98 each, reflecting a 2.91% increase from the previous day's closing figure of ₹22.33. The company, boasting a 28-year listing history on the BSE, has established a prominent presence in various sectors.
