PM Modi Credits BJP's Recent State Wins to Collective Spirit and Governance Excellence

In a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentary party meeting on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attributed the recent victories in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh to the collective spirit of the party. Modi emphasized the collaborative effort of party workers in the states, acknowledging the contribution of all leaders from the establishment of the party till the present.

Addressing lawmakers, Modi stated that the success is a result of the collective work of the party over the years. He emphasized the governance model and performance, asserting that the BJP has become a "preferred party" even as the incumbent seeking to retain power. The party claims to have overcome anti-incumbency through the effective implementation of pro-people schemes.

Highlighting electoral trends, Modi noted that the BJP gets re-elected for the second time 57% of the time, while the Congress' re-election rate is below 20%, and regional parties stand at 49%. Furthermore, he mentioned that the BJP's three-time re-election rate is 59%, while the Congress has never been re-elected.

The MPs were encouraged to actively participate in the 'Viksit Bharat Yatra,' focusing on the saturation of all government schemes and programs. Additionally, they were urged to engage in the Vishwakarma Yojana and support the recent scheme for particularly vulnerable tribal groups.

Commending the Tejas project as a "Make in India" initiative, Modi emphasized the global recognition of indigenous production and manufacturing. The BJP's recent victories in the assembly polls, preceding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, marked the party's success in wresting power from the Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while retaining its government in Madhya Pradesh.
