Sardar Patel Intellectual Forum Gears Up for National Conference on Social Harmony

The Sardar Patel Intellectual Forum is gearing up for a significant national conference, scheduled for February 4th at the Indira Gandhi Auditorium in the capital city. The event is poised to delve into diverse facets related to Sardar Patel and social harmony. The esteemed Governor of Maharashtra, Ramesh Bais, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

Jagdish Sharan Gangwar, the Secretary-General of the Intellectual Forum, highlighted that Patel's influence extends to more than 12% of society. With this in mind, the conference aims to bring together representatives from all states, encompassing former administrative officers, military personnel, university vice-chancellors, high court judges, parliamentarians, local government officials, and representatives from various sectors, totaling approximately 2,000 participants. During a pre-conference press briefing, retired IAS founder protector Dr. Kshetrapal Gangwar, along with Vice Presidents V.R. Verma and Ravindra Kumar Gangwar, and Treasurer R.L. Niranjan, shared their insights. The speakers emphasized that the conference's agenda includes discussions on modern society, social harmony, issues related to marginalized communities, awareness about employment opportunities, education, prevalent cultural practices, and rituals, in addition to focusing on the role of Sardar Patel in contemporary society.

An important proposal to name a national road after Sardar Patel is expected to be passed during the conference. Furthermore, deliberations will revolve around the construction of Patel memorials in Lucknow and Delhi, organizing an event to honor Sardar Patel, and initiating programs to appreciate talent.

The Sardar Patel Intellectual Forum, established in July 2018, aims to raise awareness about societal interests, bring various social organizations onto a common platform, and advocate for social, political, economic, and cultural participation. The forum encourages entrepreneurship and promotes activities like operating libraries, reading rooms, and related initiatives in rural areas. Previous events organized by the forum include intellectual brainstorming camps, rural development programs, training and honor ceremonies for Panchayat representatives, public representative honor ceremonies, social brainstorming camps, meet-and-greet sessions, Sardar honor ceremonies, and talent appreciation programs.

This upcoming conference is part of the ongoing series of events, representing a significant effort towards fostering social harmony and addressing contemporary challenges in modern society.
