Infosys Enters 5-Year Partnership to Enhance Direct-to-Customer Business Model for smart Europe GmbH
Infosys has announced a strategic five-year partnership with smart Europe GmbH, a distinguished electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, aimed at optimizing the latter's direct-to-customer (D2C) business model in Europe. The collaboration will focus on enhancing digital sales and elevating the overall customer experience.
As per the disclosure made to the BSE, Infosys will contribute its expertise to elevate customer experience, facilitate data-driven personalization, and enhance engagement for the existing line of EV models, including smart #1, smart #3, and other forthcoming all-electric models from the renowned brand.
smart Europe GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of smart Automobile, was established to supply, market, and service future smart vehicles within the European market. smart Automobile is a 50/50 joint venture between Mercedes-Benz AG and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, established in 2019.
Through this strategic collaboration, Infosys will assist smart Europe GmbH in redefining the online EV purchasing experience and will employ cutting-edge machine learning (ML) models to provide accurate sales and after-sales demand forecasts.
Infosys was chosen for its deep expertise in streamlining automotive sales and e-commerce processes and systems, making it the ideal partner to assist the premium EV manufacturer in this transformative journey. Additionally, Infosys will enable smart Europe GmbH to efficiently market electric vehicles across 15 European countries using a direct-to-customer (D2C) sales approach, and ensure a seamless experience across lead generation, prospect conversion, sales, and after-sales channels, all supported by end-to-end ownership and accountability.
