The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode), renowned for its quality business education, has joined hands with Emeritus to launch the groundbreaking Chief Marketing and Growth Officer Programme. Geared towards seasoned marketing leaders, the 10-month live online program aims to equip participants with the skills needed to transform into modern, growth-oriented marketing leaders.

In today's dynamic business landscape, Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) play a crucial role in not only brand marketing but also steering business growth. The Chief Marketing and Growth Officer Programme, a first-of-its-kind initiative, addresses this paradigm shift. Industry experts, including faculty from IIM Kozhikode, will provide real-world case studies, a 3-day on-campus immersion for networking, hands-on business simulations, and a capstone project. The curriculum also guides participants in creating their own CMO Playbook for envisioning, collaborating, and innovating.

Eligible candidates with a minimum of 10 years of work experience, holding a graduate or diploma qualification, can apply for this program. High-potential aspiring CMOs, new and evolving CMOs/sales/brand/revenue officers, and business leaders stand to gain valuable insights into the demands of modern marketing.

According to studies by PwC and McKinsey & Company, CMOs today need to broaden their skill sets, with approximately 45% investing in tech and 80% of CEOs seeing them as major drivers of company growth. The Chief Marketing and Growth Officer Programme addresses this need for upskilling, ensuring experienced marketers can navigate market demands and excel in growth-oriented leadership.

The Chief Marketing and Growth Officer Programme is scheduled to commence on March 24, 2024, with an enrollment benefit price of INR 4,25,000 plus applicable taxes until February 22, 2024. Successful participants will receive a completion certificate from IIM Kozhikode upon fulfilling all evaluation components and maintaining a minimum attendance of 75%.
