Glamplus Secures ₹16.5 Crores in Pre-Series A Round for B2B Beauty Marketplace Expansion
Funding led by Upsparks Capital, Eagle10 Ventures, ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, and Inflection Point Ventures.
Glamplus, a SaaS-enabled B2B Beauty Marketplace, has successfully raised approximately ₹16.5 crores in a pre-series A funding round. Upsparks Capital, Eagle10 Ventures, ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, and Inflection Point Ventures led the investment, with additional participation from Kube VC and prominent investors like Gopal Krishna Varshney and IR Capital Partners. The funds will be allocated towards expanding B2B operations in Tier I & Tier II cities and venturing into international markets.
Glamplus serves as a B2B marketplace, empowering small, medium, and large salons, spas, and retail beauty chains to enhance their day-to-day operations through technology. The platform, equipped with a SaaS solution, offers a range of services tailored to meet diverse customer needs. In addition to optimizing efficiency and productivity, Glamplus facilitates both offline and online beauty product supply, professional services, and personal care.
Rohan Singh, Chief Operating Officer at Glamplus, highlighted the company's commitment to profitability by Q1 2024. The focus is on reaching small businesses, such as salons and beauty stores, ensuring higher fulfillment, faster deliveries, and competitive pricing through an optimized supply chain.
Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, praised Glamplus for creatively addressing the challenges faced by small to medium-sized salon and spa owners. The platform provides a comprehensive solution covering Employee Management, Appointments, Inventory, Expenses, Campaigns, and Analysis services.
Mohit Gulati, Managing General Partner at ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, emphasized Glamplus's early mover advantage in automating salon workflows and streamlining inventory procurement. With around 32 hosted brands, Glamplus is poised to capitalize on the growing Beauty, Personal Care, and Cosmetics (BPC) market in India, projected to reach $38.0 billion by 2028.
Glamplus, operational in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, recently launched a centralized warehouse to enhance order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment. The company is strategically positioned with efficient tools for delivery optimization, logistics planning, and packaging development.
As a Digital B2B beauty marketplace, Glamplus has listed over 2000 SKUs, achieving a 12% annual growth. The platform has built a substantial user base, serving over 9500 beauty customer clients and 6 lakhs B2C customers. Glamplus aims to cater to 1000 B2B beauty clients, ranging from luxury salons to small-sized parlors, in the next 6 months.
