In a significant development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath graced the inauguration ceremony of the newly renovated State Bank of India (SBI) branch located at the U.P. Secretariat in Lucknow on February 7, 2024. The refurbishment aims to provide customers with an enhanced and spacious banking environment, ensuring the delivery of excellent services.

Present at the event were key dignitaries, including Shri Satish Mahana, Chairman of Vidhan Sabha, Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna, Finance Minister, Shri Durga Shankar Mishra, Chief Secretary of UP, and Shri Sharad S. Chandak, Chief General Manager of SBI, Lucknow Circle.

The revamped premises not only signify a commitment to modernizing banking infrastructure but also align with the state government's efforts to enhance public services. Shri Arun Kumar Sahu, General Manager of Lucknow Network-1, Deputy General Manager Shri R. Natarajan, and Assistant General Manager Shri Randhir Kumar Jha, along with other bank officials and government employees, attended the inauguration.

During the ceremony, a poignant moment occurred when Mrs. Lalitesh Yadav, the nominee of the late Shri Rajeshwar Prasad, a Secretariat employee, was presented with a cheque for Accidental Death Insurance by SBI. This gesture underscores the bank's commitment to supporting its patrons during challenging times.

The renewed SBI branch is poised to cater to the evolving banking needs of the U.P. Secretariat and the broader community, promising a seamless and efficient banking experience for all its customers.
