BhoomiSeva, a leading advocate for sustainable agricultural practices, has officially partnered with AIOCD Pharma Ltd., a giant in the healthcare industry. This strategic alliance is poised to bring about a transformative change in India's agricultural landscape.

The partnership is set to deploy BhoomiSeva Kendra (multi-brand stores) and the innovative Bhu-Vision Soil Testing Device across the nation, with 45 super stockists and 533 district stockists appointed in 15 states, covering a staggering 94% of the country in phase I. This ambitious move is geared towards a comprehensive overhaul of India's agricultural practices, rooted in the ethos of Personal Social Responsibility (PSR), advocating for widespread soil testing to enhance soil and human health.

Melind Deshpande, Founder and CEO of BhoomiSeva, expressed gratitude for AIOCD's commitment to the "Healthy Soil, Healthy People" movement. Deshpande believes that this collaboration will usher in a monumental shift in addressing soil and human health, setting the stage for a healthier and more sustainable future for the nation.

Shri Jagganath (Appa) Shinde, Chairman of AIOCD, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the long-term benefits of healthier soil on human health. He cited the alarming decline in soil organism species and pledged AIOCD's support to generate 12.50 lakh soil tests annually, contributing significantly to the "Healthy Soil Healthy People" movement.

Shri Vaijnath Jagusthe, Director AIOCD, highlighted the initiative's nation-building aspect, aiming to empower 12.50 lakh farmers to increase crop yield by 20%-30%. This, he noted, is a crucial step in collective Personal Social Responsibility (PSR).

The groundbreaking initiative extends its reach through collaboration with 12.50 lakh medical shops, intending to disseminate information and promote soil testing as an integral part of PSR. This partnership is poised to reach over 50 crore citizens, leveraging the extensive network of the Indian healthcare ecosystem.

In rural areas, the program will establish government-authorized soil testing centers within medical shops, adopting the 'Shop in Shop' multi-brand store model of BhoomiSeva. This approach is expected to engage 2,15,000 medical shops in rural India, ensuring widespread access to essential soil testing services.

In urban areas, medical shops will play a pivotal role in promoting soil testing among clients, fostering a citizen's movement towards responsible and sustainable practices.

The BhoomiSeva Kendra initiative, a pioneering concept, aims to unite the nation's agricultural community by providing access to agricultural inputs, expert guidance, and cutting-edge technologies.
